The Spanish are making a bit thing about this. It is apolitical and covers thanks to everyone working on our behalf. Is that a good thing though?
Sorry I didn't mean that. I meant folk gathering in town centres? The Spanish are making a bit thing about this. It is apolitical and covers thanks to everyone working on our behalf.
In no way am I a happy clappy person. I am the opposite. However this is doing something to help people feel like they are still part of a community. So we feel we are all fighting this together.
PS This was not some kind of government led initiative. To take their focus away from their mistakes. It was something that has come about spontaneously.
Ok I've now realised you mean people are just on their balconies and what not. Ignore me.Sorry I didn't mean that. I meant folk gathering in town centres?
Ha! The uninformed will think it's impromptu, while I gather the plaudits for being the *hippest/most tragic* neighbour.

Na its mine really. I was questioning it because I'd recently read someone on Facebook (in the UK) saying he was abandoning the applause tonight because its not in the spirit of social distancing, people come out of their houses and start milling about in the front gardens and before you know it its actually no longer a very safe thing to do, I was beginning to wonder if the Spanish had started to go one further in light of slightly decreasing death tolls.Yep. Also, typically terraces, ever small ones, are at least 5m wide. So you can stand in the centre of your terrace and obey having >2m distance to your neighbours. Even in cramped environments.Na its mine really. I sort of get it but if you're clapping from your top window and don't live in a block of very small studios I'm sure its probably ok.
That depends. Will you be dad dancing?
Worse. Playing acoustic guitar.
Long f***ing walk of shame back to the front door tonight.
Oh dear, do you know anyone with a tambourine? That's a cool instrument, I've seen Mick Jagger play one.
I did mate, was lovely and they all joined in!
