Next manager sorted?

What makes you think that?

There must be many managers without a job - Zidane, Conte not that I think they would be on the list.
Well, if they’re interviewing now with Warnock’s blessing then it suggests a few things:

- Transition is planned for the end of the season

- Warnock is retiring at the end of the season no matter what (even if we get promoted), and his job is 100% safe until then

- I reckon more likely to be someone who’s in work now than not, who’s leaving their current club at the end of the season.

- Which sort of breaks our ‘no hiring managers who are already in work’ policy, but not really if they resign or their contract ends then

- Someone out of work like Eddie Howe or Wilder is more likely to be looking at other jobs that come up and on plenty of lists, they’re not going to hang around for the Boro job - it’s not Pep Guardiola taking a year off before City.

- Suppose if we lose the next 20 games, we’d just put a caretaker in until new guy is available at end of the season, assuming he’s with another club

- It does suggest a more left-field manager who’s stepping up, and is really refreshing long term planning

- Of course it could also be Twitter b***ks

Howe gets mentioned often, I'd be delighted with that appointment but think it's well out of our reach .. surely?? Surprised he isn't in a job anywhere else at minute, mind. Never know ..
It’s because he won’t travel, he turned down Celtic, he left Burnley not long after he went there, he won’t uplift his family so only wants to work across the south.

You'd have Chris Wilder in a shot. Although not sure he will hang around for 8 months. I'm sure plenty of decent jobs will come up.

Also probably want a few quid to spend.

They aren't interviewing now. Who knows what position we will be in at the end of the season or who will be available at the end of the season. It's just **** on twitter.
Exactly,

What if we qualify for and win the play-offs?

We will maybe have a list of managers we'd like in the prem and a list of managers if still in the champo but i doubt it has gone beyond that.

Sol Bamba
Leo Percovich
Jonny Howson
Lee Peltier
Kevin Blackwell
Ronnie Jepson
Craig Liddle
Ian Bennett
Phil Hudson
Kieran Scott
Neil Warnock
apparently the man to succeed Neil Warnock has already been brought to the club albeit to fulfil a different role for the time being..

that to me would suggest Sol Bamba - he was initially brought in for a coaching role and as much as folks will like to say Kieran Scott is going to wave a magic wand and find the next Jurgen Klopp to play the gen gen super press!

in reality it has already been stated that Kieran Scott will work with the current manager to identify new targets.. this could very well include Neil's successor.

We know that Sol Bamba was being primed to be a future Cardiff manager before his illness and Lee Peltier was doing a bit of coaching whilst at West Brom

It's going to be you, isn't it mate? With Nobby as your assistant? Boro Legend in charge of scouting? That's a management team that I could really get behind.

We know farke doesn’t know how to keep a side in the premier league more than one. So unless where in the championship looking for promotion I wouldn’t want him .

Why on earth would we be searching for our new manager in October when.

A) There's 7 months of the season left, managers could become available who you never thought would that you suddenly want

B) Warnock is on a three game win streak with us sitting in the play off positions. Looking for a new manager could throw him off his game and derail our season

C) It's bloody October, Warnock won't be retiring until May at the earliest. It's purely disrespectful having 11 interviews for in 7 months time when our current gaffer hasn't even expressed he's leaving 😂

D) I'd imagine we'd have a PL list (just in case) and a Championship list, how on earth do you interview potential PL managers when you are 14 games in and in the play offs on goal difference

I expect it'll be a young foreign manager, maybe Michael Reizeger? Daniel Farke when he gets the boot.
Either way, plenty of football to go before we ever talk about this. UTB
