Next Lions game

Rubbish.
Individual errors.
Poorly organised.
What was Henshaw doing.
Daly out of his depth.
Was a poor first half. Front row struggled, lineout ball dreadful and Springboks won the kicking game. They looked like a team that hadn't played together, which they hadn't.

Second half started off well with the lineout try and the Lions didn't look back. Won every aspect of the game, particularly when Ken Owens came on. The last two minutes showed how limited the Springboks are as an attacking group.

Get the front row forwards selection right and an attacking backs selection and the Lions should win the next two matches with two big margins, particularly as they're now at sea level.

O'Gara said there are over 200 cameras in the ground for TMOs. I thought they had about 30-40 in 6 nations?

He must have that slightly wrong! It was a bit weird he wasn't facing the camera when talking too!

Anyway; I'm looking forward to next week now. I would make changes - Daly didn't quite work at centre (thought he struggled physically) and I'd be tempted to start Faletau at number 8.

Great second half performance by the Lions. SA had two tries disallowed after review by the video ref, so small margins!

Thought the first was a forward pass and offside. Second was a knock on (did he actually ground it as I didn't see a close up?)

Agree 100% with that.

The second was grounded but completely irrelevant because of the knock on.

Yeah. the video calls were probably right, all I was saying that it was fine margins. Lions deserved the win and got strong the longer the game went on. The offside / forward pass call to overrule the SA try was a 50/50 for me, and as it was given on field as a try, I could not see anything to overrule that. But I have not watched back again.

Great game. Itoje, AW Jones and Lawes were brilliant.

That was a good come back. First half was a worry. We just weren’t at the races. It was a good turnaround in the second half wasn’t it. Still not convinced with Daly at centre. I was definitely wrong about Lawes. I thought he would be a liability but he was really solid. Our second row is pretty damn good too isn’t it?

Wish I had your optimism. Proof will be in the pudding. Might be a bit of reverse psychology Gatland kicking off,
I feel Gatland might have got under his skin:

“there’s no clear evidence that it was offside, it’s was possibly offside. It’s definitely offside” the way he ruled out a SA try was superb 🤣🤣🤣

Watson was our worst player and Curry was non existent and Dal6 was awful again when he came on-also 3 front row changes weakened the team
Hogg didn’t have a great game but is only decent fullback we have
Hard for our backs to score tries when we play so defensively but all defended well
Need to change tactics in final test and play more attacking game

Hogg especially couldn't catch the ball.
Time and again he spilled it forward.
SA will repeat the tactic and target him as an individual in the decider.
Tbh he choked and will be a liability.

Incredible performance from the South African pack. They absolutely dominated, let’s be honest, a pretty big Lions pack in the 2nd half especially. That’s not easy to do. Big swing to South Africa in the series now.

Hammered.
Drop Hogg and van de m.
Hard to see us winning the next game after that humiliation.
That was the weakness they picked on throughout the second half. They've had it if they get played next week.

We need a bit more attacking capability as there was no ability to counter attack with that back line.

What to do with the forwards though?
