Next 10 Boro games

Only 1 season in 12 in the Premier League eh.
I suppose we could count it as a success really in that during the 11 seasons in the Championship Boro haven't been relegated to the third tier.

Or it shows there's 20 better managers in the league than him.

The table must be lying, because there's only 14 managers placed above us and we're still only six points away from a playoff position.

we are also only 4 points above a relegation place but hey you keep spinning it how you want...

We are a mid-table second - division side.
One season in twelve years in the Premiership.
Cant see this year being any different.
Utter rubbish, the team is shaping up nicely with the signings of payero and sporar bedding in with siliki still to come in and herdandez and Jones also developing…sol bamba a revelation with Fry out.
So much to be excited about yet you CHOOSE to get out your negative cap

The last 3 games have only told us we are better than 3 relegation contenders, that's it, if we get through the next 3 games without losing and have at least 2 wins then thats saying we might be a bit better than mid-table.

No.
Its called realism.
Im delighted for the new contingent, particularly Martin Payero.
Sporar is a flair player and Silki will prove his worth.
The concern for me is that we have a man in charge who plays stodgy football - where players fit the system, not express themselves.
Very much a Pulis-type approach.
A more circumspect approach is required.

By the way:
What is realistic to conclude from one season in twelve out the Championship?
Are we really Premier League Title Contenders?

Its always positive to exchange opinions (y)

I find it impossible to decide at the moment whether Warnock is a genius or dead lucky. He has been pretty much forced to pick an unthinkable back 4 at the start of the season (two out of position and two ‘squad fillers). Had Fry, Djiksteel Bola, Hall been fit he almost certainly would have kept picking them and given their play to win ratio in recent weeks you wonder where we would be now? He has been vocal in his own inimitable way on the non British signings pretty much being signed for him rather than by him. He played Sporar because he accepted he was better than what we had but was more luke warm on Payero. Again injuries have forced his hand but you wonder without injuries how much game time would Payero have got? We have been all over the place this season at times but appear to be more successful when Warnock doesn’t have choices and can only pick from the bare bones of the squad rather than make informed selection choices. It will be interesting and enlightening to see what happens over the next five or six games when more of the squad become available and the boss once again puts what he believes to be his best team on the pitch . As a Boro fan I hope his experience and history of securing promotion comes good one more time and he takes his place in Boro folklore history as a manager who took us back to the EPL.

I don’t like your general feeling about Neil Warnock
A genius or lucky ?
In many ways he is both….of those
Why ?
hes had to deal with a decimated back four and a don’t think he likes hall or really rates him. I don’t.
Loads of injuries yet he’s been positive and an attitude of is what it is and galvanized the squad
They all seem to really like him and he has managed us carefully through this tough period
Lucky ?
Well. Luck plays a part but you make your own luck in the world and he has his fair share which bodes well for us surely ?
A decimated injury list just when we were bedding in new players BUT played some of the lesser teams
Luck yes but believe you me
You make your own luck and I think Warnock has luck aplenty 😃

I remember Woodgate’s best period was when he was in a similar situation of almost having the team picked for him but when he had choices his nativity was exposed. Warnock is anything but naive and I hope your right and what we are witnessing is outstanding management with a limited squad decimated by injuries that as the breadth of choice extends can continue to shine. (As I said I’m just struggling to decide as that didn’t seem the situation in recent months). UTB

Woodgate was a complete rookie with no experience of getting teams promoted and we would have been relegated to league 1 if he continued.

Warnock has probably forgotten more than Woody will ever know about building teams capable of getting promoted.

He deserves credit for getting the best out of an injury ravaged squad. To suggest we have only won a few games because of injuries forcing his hand is very disingenuous to Warnock.

Don’t think I said we are only winning because Warnock didn’t have a choice on selection I actually said given our season to date I found it impossible to decide, it could be that or it could be because he is a great manager now making great decisions and we might kick on strongly from here. I certainly hope so. The problem with this Board is everything is black or white. Everyone has to be amazing or shocking - with little room for debate between the polar opposites I am chuffed to bits we have won three games in a week. I was equally disappointed we lost at home and were very much outplayed by Blackpool, and a 10 man QPR. I was upset for the away fans at the quality of our performance at Coventry Reading and particularly Hull. Let’s see what happens in the next five or six games before we inevitably crown or kick Warnock on here

Players fit the system? We’ve played several formations this season
