Newmarket races last night - Tom Jones

Might be of interest for Erimus in particular! Went to Newmarket last night for the racing followed by Tom Jones concert. For 81 years old the guy can still belt them out! Absolutely rammed with people - really decent night.

For those who recall him doing a song with the son of Lonnie Donnegan on The Voice - well the lad is now in Tom’s backing band- nice touch. Thoroughly enjoyable night seeing a true master vocalist ply his trade.

I was camping at Westerdale near to where the ex-owner of the Carphone Warehouse lives. It was his birthday and he had a load of stars bus and trained into his estate. Even Boris and Cameron attended this get together.

Anyway, Tom Jones was the entertainment and he was up on stage singing for the crowd. We sat on a hill looking down on them all and Tom put on a brilliant show.
