Looks like Newcastle have done just enough to stay up before their horrendous run of five games coming up. Seems like Fulham will be joining us instead (y)

Newcastle United - 32 points

West Ham (H)
Liverpool (A)
Arsenal (H)
Leicester City (H)
Manchester City (H)
Sheffield United (H)
Fulham (A)

I'd be happy with Sunderland coming up without having to wish misfortune against a fellow north east club. an automatic promotion place still looks in reach and if not surely they must be favourites for the playoffs?

Oxford United (H)
Peterborough United (A)
Charlton Athletic (H)
Blackpool (A)
Hull City (A)
Accrington Stanley (H)
Plymouth Argyle (A)
Northampton Town (H)

Hartlepool top of conference premier with 3 of 4 more games played than their nearest rivals. Hopefully they are a shoe in for promotion to League Two

Macclesfield Town (A)
Wealdstone (A)
Weymouth (H)
Chesterfield (H)
Bromley (A)
Maidenhead United (H)
Aldershot Town (A)
Sutton United (A)
Dover Athletic (H)

Darlington not looking too sharp towards the bottom of National League North, what on earth has been going on there?

Sunderland promoted
Hartlepool promoted
Darlington avoid relegation

Looks like about as good as it's gonna get for north east football. and it ain't half bad tbh

Come on you mackems, monkey hangers and quakers alike GET UP YER!!

Haven't the National North & South leagues been cancelled?

I don’t wish any good luck Sunderland’s way. Sadly they’ll at least make the play-offs. If they miss out on the top two (🤞), I hope they get battered in the first leg and the second leg.

Fingers crossed, hopefully Fulham find some form too!!
Even if they do I think they've left it too late.

On the plus side Fulham away is always good London trip for a few days (assuming we're allowed to go

Depends which one splashes the cash.
they'll be looking for different players imo

plenty of decent free transfers available that we wont be after..

GK Marcus Betinelli

RB Antonio Barragán
CD Lamine Kone
CD Jack Rodwell
LB Joe Bennett

MF Muhamed Besic
MF Julien de Sart

RW Ashley Fletcher
AM Gastón Ramírez
LW Marvin Johnson

ST Britt Assombalonga

Sunderland will spend £60m (not in one go I guess?) if they get promoted.
Newcastle will be fine to stay up in the Premier League. Great results for them yesterday tbh.

younger players
I don't know - they have new owners who might think that the momentum from promotion might be the best chance for promotion to the premier League and really go for it.

All academic as they're not even promoted yet (and hopefully won't be!)

Do you think they might push the boat out and bring in a couple of players from the fringes of the England squad, hand them over decent sized premiership contracts regardless of any peculiarities regarding their form or current their clubs attitude towards them..

Sadly I think Newcastle will stay up, only because the teams below them are dreadful.
Happy for Sunderland and their horrible fans to stay down as long as possible.
Looking forward to trips to Peterborough, Sheffield utd and probably Fulham next season, if permitted. All direct trains 👍.

Fulham lost their last FOUR games!

The skunks will stay up , can't see Fulham catching them , and WBA have left it too late.
The deck chairs have faltered , and look like missing the automatic places , and I can see them getting beat in the play offs by Blackpool at Wembley .
We could then take Wyke and the Keeper Burge off them on free transfers.

Wyke scores again so keeping his eye in , but can't stop the defeat . 😮
