Newcastle Banner

I look forward to Red Faction and other clubs organising banners against the ownership of clubs by Qatar and Abu Dhabi - both of whom have less than ideal attitudes to workers rights, womans rights etc etc.
I see what you’re doing but big difference though, list how many of the 9/11 attackers were from Qatar and Abu Dhabi, then list how many are from Saudi.

From memory it’s 15/19.

Is Newcastle's ownership any different to the Saudi's owning vast properties in London or buying billions of British weapons? Frankly, this country is the biggest hypocrite going.

Sunlun fans with a lot of their usual petty insults interspersed with some sensible posts That gadge **** Hilliams ( nearly right) tries once again too hard by issuing abuse - I’m sure he feels it makes him more acceptable- him being a resident of Teesside! A rather immature and excuse of a man. Hey ho!!

Well yes they are, but the Newcastle deal has just happened and they're based just up the road
Yes indeed but all I said was I look forward to RF and other clubs criticising the other regimes as well. I never said they should have done it yesterday, last week, last month, just that I look forward to the same level of criticism being applied.

I'm not sure RF need to really. I mean if you applied the same logic in general life you could spend 24 hours a day protesting about stuff that's wrong if you applied an all or nothing rule

And that's it, right there. That they are actually relishing being taken over by the Saudi regime is precisely why they should be called out on it. Well done Red Faction.
The thing is, we'd be relishing it as well. Like with the Mags, not everybody would be pleased but the majority would be loving it.

Just had a look at the thread and had to laugh at the comment, "Boro desperately trying to make themselves relevant".

If that's the case then a 7 paged thread shows that it's worked.

Possibly. But I know where I would be. What's significant here is that there seems to be practically no opposition from Newcastle supporters here. The supporters' trusts are meant to be the good guys, but their statement was like Galloway addressing Sadaam Hussein.

Agreed, I was embarrassed when I saw it also. We just get accused of trying to stir up a rivalry or being small time. I personally think the best tact on something like this is to say nothing as anything else comes across as jealousy or being bitter.

Got a few messages off mags from work and they were laughing about it tbf saying how they love being the most hated club in the PL.

rivalry? we havent played them since 2009 no problem with the banner but the use of the F word clearly seeable by an area of the ground including the family zone is totally unacceptable

This banner says it all who ever organised this outside the ground needs applauding. If away fans could organise a similar large banner inside the stadium it would be great. Maybe it could be passed between different clubs supporter groups.

totally agree - I mentioned this a while back - The RF lot seem very organisedand I'm sure they could pull something together. I don't think there would be any shortage of contributors
