New Shirt Stocking Issues

There's full stock on womens away shirts on the MFC site?

Edit: Medium home shirts without sponsor sold out though 😆

Did they mention when the Blue one comes out?

Obviously so I can spit on it then set it on fire, crimes against fashion and humanity etc.

OR I actually quite like it and will probably buy it. 👍

I’m tempted for the Blue one too, if I could get it without the sponsor would be tempted to wear it in polite company as well as to the match😉

I'd love to know how much this genuinely costs the club.

Now I totally understand the club don't want to have stock left over and end up reducing large amounts of stock at the end of the season to get rid of it, thereby reducing our profit margins.

But this is a regular theme now. We are always selling out our stock. And they aren't cheap in the slightest. I wouldn't be surprised if the mark up on the official replica shirts is one of the highest margins, so to not maximum profits from this area seems very strange.

There has got to be a reason. Surely we can't keep blaming the suppliers?

A couple of years ago - there was loads of stock left at the end of the season - we bought a couple of shirts dead cheap at an end of season sale.

I wonder if the interest does vary a lot.

Also whether different people like different styles.

Loss of sales vs selling at a loss because you have excess stock....

Maybe they are going with the scarcity and urgency strategy approach each year because it works?

I know one of my mates is pre-ordering all the shirts in his size, purely because he's scared they'll be sold out soon.

Amazing that "awful" away strip that few people would buy has sold out in large already.
I've begrudgingly bought it for my lad because he likes getting a shirt for his birthday.
That's part of the issue, you're buying a clothing item that looks crap just because of what the item is.
