Heard this on talk sport driving home from work

No spitting at all on the f
No talking to any other player be it your own team or the opposition.
And refs/officials to wear masks
No contact to be made for celebrating goals

games to to start next week apparently
 
Edit my mistake it’s baseball that is to start next week with football set for mid May return but friendlies are to start as early as next week

I read no talking in a report also. I wonder if it's something that's been lost in translation as it seems very odd. I mean players will be breathing hard when exerting themselves anyway.
 
It’s a reaction that’s already embedded into players, especially to call for decision that will be difficult to control
 
It's impossible (well not literally) to play football at any level, nevermind elite level, without communication.
 
Surely it just needs every person testing before a game - if they are all virus free the number of restrictions can be much less.

I thought the biggest concern is someone is carrying the virus when its in a spreadable state inside their body i.e. for 14 days after coming into contact with someone with the virus or 7 days after recovering. Doesn't the test pick all this up?

I assume no spectators.

Do you have a link to this Zorro? I love Baseball and with the MLB still not happening I'll happily watch Japanese games over the internet. Assume you're talking about the NPB ? I cant find anything about it restarting...
 
The last daily statistics were 6 new cases. The danger of someone having it, particularly with social distancing measures in place, facemasks widely worn and testing highly available are remote. Temperature testing is what is used and what we need to start doing next.

I would recommend subscribing to one of the South Korean YouTube news channels to see what a proper response to the virus looks like. Though most of the news now is about boybands and North Korea.

The good news for us is that yesterday the first steps to putting this in place were announced. 18000 contact tracers and the setting up of a proper testing regime.

Anyhow here's an interview from an American news network of a Korean baseball player. As you can see they're filmed standing round talking to each other so I expect the no talking reports are lost in translation.
