New Music

Not a problem. I look to see the weeks new releases for my own benefit. As I am retired its not a problem to post them here for others. There is probably many on the site don't like the music posted here. That will always be the case but hopefully enough to appreciate it. Likewise I have found a lot of good music on here. Agree about Bob Mould new stuff sounds excellent.

One thing I do think about this thread though is that we should start a new one every year ie New Music 2021, New Music 2022 etc. Its up to 38 pages at the moment and its difficult to look back to check whets posted.

Yeah I'd agree with all of that, as a mostly consumer rather than contributor.

This is not new. It came out in 2010 but is new to me.

Festival Folk Sing Joni Mitchell.....................................................there are some fantastic versions on this CD. Not heard it yet but as yet never heard a bad track.

There is a huge range of talented musicians and singers that perform at Australia's acoustic and folk music festivals that love Joni Mitchell, but most are themselves songwriters and therefore do not record a lot of covers. festival folk sing Joni Mitchell started in 2006 when I ran a concert at the National Folk Festival to celebrate the songs and influence of Joni Mitchell. It was such a brilliant show that I asked these singers (and more) to put their Joni songs on this CD. The energy and creativity that has gone into this project is amazing. Almost every song has a unique arrangement that celebrates Joni’s complex style and the choice of songs strongly reflect her talents as a songwriter

He is multi-talented and plays more instruments than Boro have conceded fouls.
Hes played The Albert Hall and to audiences around the world.
He is unique.
Played alongside Quincey Jones, Herbie Hanc0ck, Chris Martin.....extremely talented young man.
I had ticket to see him earlier this year - but hopefully catch him next year - probably at Montreal Festival(y)
