My minds eye has created a nice kit from that description.

Let’s wait and see and give it a chance. We don’t have to have a white band by law
 
Fairly certain the first ever red kit we had was plain red, white shorts and black socks.

In an anniversary year, I'd expect we'd adopt similar (maybe without the black socks).

Band across the middle didn't come in until '73.

Don't mind the sound of it if we keep it sponsor free.

What’s the problem with a generic red shirt, I don’t understand this long standing desperation for “identify”.
We’re a relatively small provincial club in the 2nd division. If we want identity we need to scale up on the success side of things, a white band isn’t what’s gonna be the vessel that gives us international renown
 
It’s pretty much what I expected tbh. It’s a 150th year anniversary kit. The band is a relatively new addition.. plus the gold badge would not look as good.

Interested to see where we go with the away kit.. and the 3rd kid.

Spoken like a man without any knowledge of a brand.
 
Sounds quite nice. While i know people love the white band i do like an all red kit. Won our only trophy in all red, last got promoted in all red.
 
The club seems mad keen on the band and rightly so. It seems bizarre that in our 150th year when we’re going to be very visible as a club, they’d choose not to wear a band in the home shirt.
