New Boro App

I’m not one to usually bash the club for things like this, but abandoning the previous app and not having the new one in place is a bit amateur- you’d think it would have been ready for the new season for a smooth transition.

I use the app regularly and stream audio off it when out and about. The audio package since ifollow took over seems a worse deal than previous as the ads (often for unknown things if it’s got no speech, I think it’s just the audio from the video stream) cut across the analysis which I’d quite like to hear, certainly at half time anyway. Minor gripes in the scheme of things but always make me think it’s all a bit of an afterthought when the digital side should be great with a significant diaspora like we have.

Well said Smoggle.

The lack of a new app isn't very clever now that the new season is underway. And I too find the half time adverts annoying on the audio stream, as you can't hear the halftime analysis. Not only that, but we pay a small amount of cash (on top of our BBC licence fee) for the 'privilege' of listening to these adverts.

Moan over! Here's hoping the next two games are better than the first two.
