Netflix - The Social Dilemma

I think its the fact that the rwnj shills arent much cop and are easily sent packing. One name is used by a few different rwnj, this new sites leaves time stamp patterns. Others know nothing about the Boro etc except gleaning stuff. We do have a regular Tory or two but mainly smoggyboys old Tory social media Wharton posters. Oh and few of BR night owls. I like new posters who try post Boro stuff before going onto rw nuttery. Just join COB.

I have now watched Social Dilemma.

Firstly it should be compulsory for any 11/12 year old before they are given the use of the internet (in any form). I would say the knowledge in the documentary is more relevant to a young person than many other so called basic key skills in life.

I knew our data was being used, but I learnt more how it is used to affect and control our behaviour and how dominant money is in decision making by the platforms (i.e. totally dominant, they only care about short term profits and selling users (the general population) to the highest bidder).

Its no surprise the world is getting more and more polarised and that people are now predicting civil war in the USA in the next 20 years.

It was no surprise that the cool Californian guy who was responsible for monetising Facebook banned his family from using any form of social media.

I would guess its possibly too late now as it is difficult for many people to operate without engaging with some of social media and certainly without using the Internet on a regular basis e.g. forced to go paperless.
