I posted a link to a neolithic tomb in Anglesey earlier but that requires you to download Minecraft - you don't need any software to see the 3D models of the remarkable Ness of Brodgar iste on Orkney - truly stunning finds - almost hard to believe that they date from neolithic (new stone age) - that means way before metal technology. These people were the first farmers. They were probably way ahead of the rest of Britain when perhaps the northern isles were at the centre of sea roads across northern Europe. NESS OF BRODGAR
