Neil's presser today

Made me feel doom and gloom :( ... the unhappiest I've seen him after Blackburn game. We were robbed really .. I know refs hate NW haha but we've had fair few poor ref performances cost us this season. At the same time, I feel the game was a reality check ... it's been nice to see us doing so well until recently, and feel we've been spoiled hovering so close to top six. But given the news that signings are looking tough to come by again this window (no surprise at all) ... realistically I think the team isn't going to challenge for top six positions from now since past few results. The league is crackers at this moment especially, hope I'm wrong .. But got a bad feeling from NW today.

Where ever we're going to finish it will certainly be good progress from where we were this time last season, just hope the guy can stay on another season. I hope NWs frustration on signings etc won't discourage him from staying on. thinking he's done as much as he can with what he has to work with.

Losing Tav and Dale for a couple of games is going to be costly. I haven't even looked at the table since Blackburn game. Still furious we didn't get the penalty at least. One of those days, but there's been too many this season with p1ss poor refereeing. Shocking we didn't get the sending off their player deserved, accident or not, anywhere else on the pitch, he would have been off.

As I said I hope I'm wrong but I feel our form might be about to start dropping off, a mid-table finish more realistic. To have got top six with what NW has to work with at moment would've been unreal progress.

As I said I hope he's encouraged to stay and give it another bash next season, but the last game has left a really sour taste. Let's see how the next few games go and hope some results go our way. It's finding a way to get on a winning run again, the state of the squad is starting to worry me. I knew it'd come to this with us being so thin on numbers, but during all this Covid misery it's been one of the highlights of our week seeing us do so well.

Get well soon Dale and hope Tav isn't out for too long. Absolutely typical just as we had Fletch back.

January is always a bad time of the year, whether it be football or life because of the weather etc. It is worse this year with the virus and the fact we can’t go to support NW and the team. Keep the faith all. This team will get better. Getting Roberts at the top of his game would boost the Manager, team and fans. (y)

Just hope NW keeps the team focused on the job in hand and not to let the Blackburn fiasco get them down. A win tomorrow should hopefully get us back on track.

This is just what I am on about really. A man of Warnock's character and strength, I got the impression today he's really let it get under his skin ... and it surprised me. I cant blame him at all for being so angry right now, mind. He cares about his players and Dale was really lucky to have come out of that injury without his eye being wrecked too.

I hope Neil moves on from this and cracks on, the squad is still together and can move on. UTFB

Like said above it’s essential we get a result tomorrow . Ideally put a canny display together but on account of the Blackburn aftermath , just a win ( however ) will do

I hope so. I put my retirement date back to July this week and just took all of our midweek games as holiday.......

Are you looking at moving straight back or is it a planned withdrawal over the coming years?

Is the delay, personal, work or biding time till normal travel returns?

Tell me to poke off if you don't want to tell!

Sorry to repeat myself again - but near the end of the press conference when talking to Dom of the Gazette he said in respect of his demeanour yesterday he had been witness to a really bad accident on the A66, which he detailed and it left him thinking how life is so fragile etc.
It was definitely still on his mind. Remember I reported the press conference was delayed because of the accident, what we didn't know before hand was that it was a very bad smash with a car leaving the road which Warnock saw ahead of him on his way to the press conference. I hope the people in the car were ok.

I've been advised that now is not exactly the best time to sell my house. I'm hoping to time the sale to coincide with retirement so that we can move straight back to the UK without having to take Medicare and to get my pensions paid in Sterling direct to my UK bank account.

I wouldn’t agree with that personally from what I’ve seen their selling fast

I think any chance we have (had?) was dependent upon staying free of injuries to key players, given we have such a small squad.

Tav is a huge player for us and we don't have much defensive cover for Dale, so they're going to be a big miss.

Were still in with a shout but it will be tough and a couple of effective loans will be massive.

yeh my feeling was it was a turning point last game, probably means we wont make the playoffs but you never know. I just hope Wood can pick up from his performance, I have seen him play a lot better and chances are he will have been gettign a lot of coaching this week so lets hope.
