Neil Warnock on Brexit: I cannot wait to get out of the EU!

He's only reflecting the majority in the UK and anyhow I know that we are all part of a "dying breed" unless someone's discovered the elixir.
Hes not reflecting the majority of the UK , it was around 25% of the population voted for brexit. Dying breed? Because the majority of brexit voters were older, the majority of younger people didn't vote leave, and quite a few brexiters have since changed their minds, especially for the sort of brexit johnson wants.

That alludes to the fact that most people who wanted out of Europe were in the older age bracket.

what’s older? I’m not 40 yet and majority of my friends voted brexit. Overwhelmingly infact. Quite a few in higher paid and management roles so they’re not exactly the thick bunch. I can probably count on my fingers the people I know that voted remain.

Really? That shocks me. I don't know anyone who voted Brexit and very happy with that. Each to their own. For me, it stinks, but if you're happy being isolated and governed by these slime balls in Whitehall, then all power to you.

you don’t know anybody who voted brexit and that was the majority? That’s crazy.
I think it has a lot to do with your social bubble. People generally gravitate to people with the same views/ beliefs/opinions.
We won’t always be governed by ‘these slime balls in Whitehall’ but we will now, always be governed by Whitehall. That please me more than the being governed by the slime balls in Brussels

I think Michael's trying to say in a roundabout way he respects who & how you voted, which everyone should
I also find it hard to understand he doesn't know one single person who voted for Brexit

Calm down! So happy that you're out of the union then. I hope you'll be very happy. Me, I'm not an isolationist and I see the benefits of the union. But, crack on. Land of Hope and Glory... union jack tee shirt n all.

Oh, and enjoy your chlorinated chicken with your chips. Nice n tasty by all accounts.

It is a majority of those who got off their backsides and voted, a classic example of your vote DOES count if you get off your **** and cast it

Don’t forget blue passports

Everyone is indeed entitled to their opinion - but I reserve the right to think that anyone who voted for Brexit doesn’t have the intelligence to understand the implications of that opinion

everyone does have the right to their opinion, and you respect that, bu you think they’re thick?
That’s a bit contradictory

No it doesn’t

The vast majority of the U.K. did not vote to leave the EU

My view all along was that nobody over the age of 50 should have had a vote anyway

Well its a good job that it wasn't down to you then & people of all ages had the right to vote & from the people who voted over 50 % voted to leave, the ones who don't have the intelligence that is

Essentially they have voted to take away the freedoms they enjoyed from the next generation. Genuinely dont think 95% of those who voted have the intelligence to understand what this means.

Something this important shouldn't have ever gone to a public vote

A stunning statement of incredible intellectual arrogance.
Huge turnout, majority vote, clearly endorsed in recent General Election.
I respect anybody's right to be disappointed and not to want to leave the EU, but it was a major democratic exercise.
