She died in real life so the montage was for actors around now but her character was shown at the start.

It's amazing how many people who started off in neighbours have gone on to become such big stars, here and America

Hate to say it but watched it and loved it.

They plainly knew everyone loved Neighbours from the older characters from the early days and played on the nostalgia brilliantly.

And on a slightly shallow note, If I’d known there was a fit gay couple in it I might have watched it a bit more in recent years…..

Can only imagine if you were a regular viewer all the storylines came to a satisfactory conclusion In the preceding episodes.

Thought it was rather well done. I know for a fact my 76 yr old mother watched it every day and will miss it.
 
For those that haven’t seen it yet, spoiler alert - they all die in a horrific nuclear strike which PM Truss authorises. The final scene is her stood over the red button screaming ‘Tim Tams are just flippin Penguins! And stop banging on about fooking Vegemite! Marmite kicks the shiitt out of it 7 days of the week!’
I found it very moving.

It must be strange to be in something like that for so long. I'm sure Toadie was about 15 when he started. Kennedy's I reckon joined about 10 years after it started so they must have been in it 26 years or so

Excellent question. I was wondering that as I watched it last night. From snippets it sounded like the Street was being sold ??
p.s. Holly Valance has either got the best skin on the planet or the best plastic surgeon. Doesn't look a day different. Either way Bravo ! Natalie Imbruglia was my favourite but looks like she has succumbed to the knife and messed up her cheekbones :(
