You are kidding yourself if you think it's for only 2/3 weeks.Even if we do, a 2/3 week lockdown is surely far too late considering the current daily infections?
Try end of February.I would've thought it would be a minimum of 4 weeks, more like 5-6 to make any sustainable impact

Some of us may be in favour who have pregnant wives who work in a hospitalSuch as the scenes seem in Rome, Berlin, Bologna, London.
The results of this poll will be those in cushy public sectors jobs or retired will be in favour of a lockdown and those of us who aren't in the public sector and rely on busineses been open to pay rents, mortgages, bills, food etc will be against a lockdown.

Let this thing run though and you’ll have a plethora of staff suffering from PTSD
Hope you misses is taking the right precautions. Hope some normality in the world when your baby is bornI feel your pain, while my partner doesn’t work in a hospital but she is pregnant the whole covid situation has brought her a lot of stress with it being her first pregnancy so I think a lockdown will help her so she can be at home as she is frightened to leave the house to go to work incase she passes covid onto the unborn baby. I would like a lockdown I think if it came with a bit of decent financial security anyway

Yes, it is absolutely necessary to avoid people getting extremely ill, overwhelming the NHS and to minimise deaths. What use is money or a job if you are dead!!
Sounds more and more like a better option as the days go by. Nobody is exactly living at the moment are they. What use is money or a job if you are dead!!
