National league ended immediately

See it can be done, simple.

so if national league why not prem and efl

or are they saying national leagues don’t count

TBH whilst I'm sure their main consideration is money, I'd actually quite like some behind closed doors football to watch on telly as long as it was safe. Stuff like that could be a big win in terms of keeping people at home and sane. I'd cope better stuck at home for several more months if there was live football to watch (repeat, as long as it was safe). That's just my personal opinion, but it could actually be an effective trade off? Stay at home til August but we'll give you football to watch? As opposed to stay at home til August watching stuff on telly you'd otherwise not be bothering with like these weird documentary series Netflix keep releasing that everyone has watched within a week.

Skirmish, seen you on a few threads now, trolling.

I won't be seeing you again :poop:

"Ignored"

Why ridiculous Erimus? To me it makes perfect sense
I see where your coming from Skirmish & I posted yesterday I woukdnt like to make a final desicion as they're to many permutations but if you're going to cancel leagues then cancel them all together, make it fair & proper, I still think, IMHO, that everything should have remained until life has resumed to normal living then finished all leagues, as I mentioned there's no easy answer, just my opinion

The powers to be won't admit to it, money & greed is the real reason

I said 2 weeks ago what gives Liverpool the right to continue & Stockton can't

But that then raises the question how do you make footballer safe and clearly breaking the social distancing rules whilst everybody else has to stay inside and keep to the social distancing?

Do you honestly think people will stay at to watch these games or that Liverpool/Leeds won’t flock the streets or the ground if they win the league/gain promotion.

So the 2 hours a day will ensure the lock down continues despite evidence that it prob do the exact opposite. I don’t get your logic here at all

Yeah you have to sell to the public that they're quarantined together away from their families and its not much fun for them, but they're doing it for your enjoyment.

Personally, I don't see how you can end one season early so as not to affect the next one when we have no idea when this will end. Therefore it makes sense to me to continue this season as and when we're allowed to and plan for the following season at the earliest opportunity.

Don't know. If I was a Liverpool fan I can't imagine winning the league would feel all that unexpected so as to get in my car and drive to the ground, potentially risking catching a deadly virus. But I know folk do funny things.

That's an incredibly hard sell when you take into account a lot of people see footballers as privileged living in their own bubbles away from the real world.
There is NO way the general population will be happy to have football continue behind closed doors whilst they are still earning 100k+ a week when the general public can't even go and visit friends or family, go to a pub or spend a day at the beach/park.

I understand it would be a good distraction taking our minds off this awful crises but as Randy pointed out how could this be possible
