Has he become the front line Tory gob $hite ? His head is totally up Boris's rear end. I wondered what the large TL badge stood for. Could it be Tory Liar?

I live in Warwickshire (hence the username) this guy was the mp for Stratford originally. When we had the tiered system for covid, Stratford upon Avon was placed in tier 3, despite having one of the lowest rates in the country at the time. The reason being was they lumped Stratford and Warwick in with Coventry, (who had very high rates) this worm went to challenge this decision, was offered the job of vaccines minster to shut him up, and like the snake he is, he took the job and dropped his case. Leaving the local economy to be screwed.
 
He was ok as a vaccine minister and got things done. However, he is no different to any of the other liars. He keeps relying on trotting out the fact he lost a close relative to covid so people will think he is one of us.

His pathetic effort to go on about Starmer having a drink in a picture was equivalent to Boris’s weekly wine and cheese ‘working soiree’s’ was as embarrassing as anyone hiding in a fridge to avoid a journalist.
 
The job was invented, the vaccine model was already set up, nhs and the whole thing was sorted. Vaccine minister title was a created role, in order to shut him up about Stratford upon Avon being in tier 3. He didn't buy the vaccines, he wasn't responsible for the model of delivering them, he was lucky enough to hold powerful cards, as a wealth tory seat was wrongfully in tier 3. He got lucky and no more, and he screwed Stratford upon Avon in the process
 
He's doing the media round because the rest of the cabinet has declined. Important engagements in Ilfracombe, unavoidable fete openings etc. It is almost a badge of insignificance. The front bench are jostling to avoid the camera. Enjoy it while you can!
 
I have seen him interviewed on a number of occasions. When he is blatantly talking nonsense and the interviewer calls him out on him talking drivel, he nods his head in agreement in a 'yes I know I am' kind of way.
