"I don't know how that's come up" is my standard line if a bit of Lady Ga Ga/Jessie J or similar pops up on my playlist :)

(This thread needs Scubahood to tell us he listens to Abba)

The level of guilty pleasure depends on your age I reckon. Who amongst us wasn't a trendy music snob in our younger days and wouldn't listen to any thing outside our chosen genre? As we get older we feel less need to be trendy or fit in and hence worry less about what we listen to.
You don't want to go on a car journey with me if my phone is on shuffle as you'll hear anything from Abba through to the Yeah Yeah Yeah's and lots inbetween such as Prince, Nirvana, Bowie, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Sigue Sigue Sputnik and Die Antwoord.

Another one for Miley Cyrus, some of her backyard sessions are great. This my favourite of them and my favourite version of this song

Cliff Richard's 'Wired for Sound'. I wanna hate him but that song smacks me in the gut... and I won't know why!!!!
Funnily enough I was in a charity shop this morning when it was playing. You can't help joining in under your breath. I can't stand Cliff Richard but it's a great record.

To be honest as a fan of popmusic I think most of the Dadrock you chaps listen to is what you should be embarrassed about. Stuff like pink Floyd. Radiohead. Embarrassing 6 th form ****.

I think you’re right. When I was at school, I very much listened to mid 90’s hip hop and dance and looked down on those kids wearing Nirvana hoodies as “moshers” now I listen to loads of Nirvana, Black Sabbath etc.

Like a few have said already, I don't think there is such a thing as a guilty pleasure when it comes to music, it's just that subjective. However, bands/artists I like who nobody would probably expect me to are:

Creed
Chris Isaak
Simon & Garfunkel
U2
Underworld
Lighthouse Family
Moby
The Police
Stereophonics
REM
The Byrds
Don McLean
Chris Rea
Crash Test Dummies
