Music magpie- refurb phones?

Anyone used Music Magpie to buy a refurbished phone? I can save about £100 (Curry’s) by purchasing a “pristine” phone that has gone through a thorough test and inspection. I’m just wondering if it’s worth it, especially regarding battery life and after sales customer service?
I would be buying the phone as a gift so it needs to look as new as possible. TIA.

I've bought my daughter 3 iphones over the years all in pristine condition, really pleased with all 3 and the service from Music Magpie, parcel tracking, returns policy if required etc.
Would recommend 👍

i have used amazon and they have been excellent for pristine renewed iPhones and i think there returns policy is good. I have heard mixed reports about music magpie.

Have used MM for all my family's phones in recent years and have no complaints. Even the 'Very Good' ones look like new unless you're really scrutinizing it.

When it arrives go into settings, scroll down to battery and check maximum capacity if it’s below about 97% send it back.

2-3% degradation isn’t an issue but once it’s around 95% it starts to drop off quickly.

I use Magpie a lot and have had phones from them which have all been fine but I found Argos selling unlocked phones brand new to be really reasonable and had more recent phones that magpie didn't have. To be fair I'm not bothered if it's the latest model so an older one is fine for me but I stick to android and it might not be the same for iPhone. Magpie did have a no quibble year guarantee which I needed to use once and they were great. That was probably over five years back so not sure if it's the same now.

iPhone purchased from MM and it worked out about £100 cheaper than buying from Curry’s. I got Blue Light card discount also. 1 year warranty and I’ve had confirmation of postage all major stores were sold out . I’ll definitely check the battery as that was my main concern.

Should be with you tomorrow, We've had no issues at all with the batteries 👍 The phones are as new, must be no fault returns......
