Muniz staying.

Looks like it - unless there's any paperwork being completed in the next couple of hours
Well we'll be free to play him now - as we're paying his wages for the season
Be interesting to see if he's in the 18 on Saturday

I expect he will be, especially now we know we're paying his wages for the next 6 months.

Ramsey won't be fit, we've lost Hoppe and Watmore.

I think he'll take the place of Mowatt on the bench, with Barlaser taking the place of Watmore, and McNair/Fry taking Bola's place.

Any thoughts on the rationale from Fulham re this ? Can't be helping their asset if he is not getting a game so surely any loan where he is more likely to play would have been better ?
Or , is the Prem' so flush with brass that his transfer fee is small beer to them ?

Probably nobody else willing to pay as much as we are per week for him so he stayed here. With Watmore and Hoppe moving on he might get a little more game time although he's got Archer, Crooks and probably Forss in that up top role in front of him so he's barely going to feature. It's a shame as he looked great when he first signed, but lost his way as the team did under Wilder. I'd certainly like to see him given another chance before the end of the season.

Yes, we were all raving about buying a young Brazilian striker who was good in the air, had good technique and worked hard just a few months ago. Time for him to prove he is better than Matt Crooks up front.

Thankfully he’s only on loan. Meanwhile, Hoppe went to Hibs — should be interesting to see if he can make it onto the first team. Anyone think he’ll survive a Scottish winter?

A little concerning that nobody found a loan deal for him viable - suggests he's unfancied or we're overpaying for him. That said, we'll certainly need options second half of the season and I think he's a decent player at this level.

Main issue would appear to be his style and how he fits in. Carrick wants his number 9 to run in behind and stretch defences which counts Muniz out. He could potentially do a job in Akpom's role (he's got the technique) but his vision and strength are maybe a little lacking?

Wilder played him as a target man, but he was very isolated and it didn't seem to suit him.

I'm not convinced we've seen enough to know what else he could do. The interplay and support the front four give each other now could well be something he can be a part of.

Talk of a loan, Fulham wanting a loan..
Maybe he was always in our plans and he wants to stay?

There is still a lot of football to be played this season. I have a sneaking suspision that he may come good. Great option coming off the bench.
