Mungosmum

Leicester seem to be selling, about to sell or have some senior players leave.... could be a tough season ahead for them... outside bet for relegation with good odds I'd think.

Is Choudury any good? I've never taken any notice of him, barring his barnet. He seems to linked to so many clubs every single window, yet never goes anywhere.

better question is who is mungo?

A woman whose husband is friends with Ryan Giles' dad, so she was the first to say that we were in for him, also predicted Tommy Smith correctly.

I don't think she actually has any insight beyond that, it's all been guesswork from her since to stay in the limelight.
Unless she's asking her husband to ask Giles' dad to ask Ryan things.

She was adamant Dwight Gayle was about to be announced for weeks, and that clearly was b***ks.

An upgrade on Howson in my view. Won't get all over the field like Howson but better defensively and without the ball. Real workhorse who won't give the opposition midfield a second.

Should allow the two either side licence to support attacks more as well, although they're arguably positions we need to upgrade too!

Praet would be an incredible signing but can't see it happening. Would probably be head and shoulders the best midfielder in the league.

I always wonder how many players actually have a up to date insight into players arriving at a club. I think another player was saying on a recent podcast that they don't really know until that player arrives at the training ground.

Yeah, I can't see any reason why they would know before then either unless they were pally with the recruitment team or the manager was loose-lipped.

or of course the player was a mate. However I'm sure Wilder doesn't publish a list of players he's talking to and stick it up on the notice board for all the players to see.

Any chance it might be albrighton?
why would we ant a winger?

Yeah pretty much spot on. I'd take him like. I mean he's inexperienced, only played 3,600 mins of football in his career, about 40 games. But its been at a high level and he's more than held his own. Get's better than 84% passing in the premier league which shows some technical ability. At the same time Leicester fans seem to be sick of waiting for him to come good, but they're operating at a different expectation level to us these days.

Players talk to each other. A player being sounded out for a move will ask around. Word usually gets out.
Yeah was watching Ben foster transfer podcast other day and it sounds like apart form freak situations the players almost always know as an arrival normally knows at least one of the lads at the club already and as you say players talk and ask about the club and other players etc before they join

It's why all this 'difficult to attract players to the area' stuff really is nonsense. We've brought in great players from home and abroad in the past, Rockliffe as an environment to spend most of your week will be well known.
