Mowatt

Maybe he fancied West Brom ahead of us when he was weighing up his options last year.....manager who liked him and got a tune out of him at Barnsley had just gone there, baggies had parachute money and were promotion favourites?

Think mowatt will take care of the ball better than tav. Who often mispassed the ball and had to chase for it back which he could do because of his industry. Will be interesting to see if our possession stats improve with mowatt in the side
Potentially, but he doesn't have the same engine or ability to move with the ball. It's a shame we didn't get to see Tav and Giles together, I think they'd have been dangerous.

We been pretty open down that left side at times, I think we've missed Tav covering the ground over there. Hopefully Mowatt can assist with that

I think he is an intelligent footballer - he seems to understand the passes that are going to hurt the opposition - when he came on I thought there was only going to be one winner

Exactly and he's probably only had 1 light training session with his team mates. Once he gets on the same wave length he could be a real important player for us. If Mowatt and Howson can get on the ball in matches we've got a very technically proficient midfield.

Our possession stats this season already look to have improved significantly - it's only a matter of time before it all clicks.

Remember this when everyone was touching themselves after 10 minutes. And saying I didn't have clue.
