Moving back to Teesside

I am moving back to the area and was hoping to get some feedback on here regarding places to avoid moving to. I lived for a lot of years in the Eaglescliffe area and always found it ok there. Low crime and anti social behaviour but there is very little available here to buy in my pricerange.
I have been looking in the Marton area around the shops on stokesley road and acklam around acklam hall. Any views on these areas or any other recommended areas would be appreciated.

it has its critics does Ingleby.

Been there 22 years never seen a single bit of crime.

Good luck, we did it a couple of years ago and didn't really enjoy the experience. Decided to move back down south but everyone is different and I guess it depends what your priorities are. We were away for about 12 years and found most areas hadn't changed much.

Move to Billingham.

It’s a Utopian paradise. By far the greatest place on Teesside.

Have you turned into a southern softy?

I moved to Eaglescliffe recently (within the last couple of years) and it is a very nice place to live, but you're right that the prices have gone up considerably in the last 12 months.

The area around Acklam hall is nice, but I'd assume you'd be paying the same kind of prices as Eaglescliffe?

Sedgefield is a very nice place, can be a little bit pricy but can find a few bargains there. Albeit just outside of teesside.

That’s likely skewed as people in Ingleby will be far more likely to report crime than many areas of Teesside.

I don’t live in Ingleby, never have but don’t see why it gets such a bad rap, the people I know that live their like it and don’t regret moving their and I’ve never seen any issues visiting them.

The problem with eaglescliffe and yarm as nice as they are getting worse year on year with traffic, with more and more new builds. If they put a whole load more homes on the golf course which has been muted for a while then its going to be gridlock on yarm road for hours
