Strange that his loan has ended early, as they'd obviously extended it already.

We're now extremely short on defenders.

Only 3 games left, so I suppose we'll cope, but we could be in the **** if we get multiple freak injuries.

That decision to play him as a midfielder was a baffling one, and it was his last ever appearance for us.
 
There is fine player called Ben Gibson kicking his heels about the place. ;);););). Daft situation for the fella.
 
We only kept 1 clean sheet in any of his appearances, though I don't think he really shoulders the blame for that.
 
Wouldn't be surprised if he asked to leave if he wasn't going to be starting games or coming off the bench.

He'd be gone in two weeks anyway, and has absolutely no ties to the area or team.

Strange lie, why would we extend his loan till the 8th of July and no later, when the season ends on the 22nd.
 
More strange goings on a Boro. We’ve been a complete basket case this season. Wonder if there’s a Netflix documentary in the offing?

I get the impression them at NW is here next season regardless what happens.

I’m quite looking forward to a squad overhaul and us getting some hard working no nonsense players in.

I think he'll have asked to leave, or he's about to sign for someone.
