Most unimpressive celebrity sighting

Donatella Versace in the rooftop restaurant of the Danieli Hotel in Venice.
Seriously scary looking woman holding court on a massive table. Like something from a horror film.

Paul North (?) I think that was his name, guy with the beard who used to do the Tyne Tees news at 6.30 on weekdays, Northern Life was it?, at some traffic lights on Borough Road.

He’s Paul Frost , I met him couple of months back in Yarm , he knew a mate of mine and we had a few pints together . Good laugh and he told us some funny tales about the TT presenters

When I was an apprentice, on a couple of occasions I had a pint with Paul Frost in Billy Paul's on a Thursday afternoon instead of going to college. I would go home half cut and he would read the news.

A company I used to work for used to get loss of sports people in for talks at company meetings, so had Seb Coe, Luke Donald, Colin Montgomery, Tani Grey-Thomson and Luis Smith the Gymnast.

Funniest one though was leaving Wentworth golf club after the PGA, late on as light is just starting to fade, a golf buggy is driving in Z’s towards us. As we get closer we noticed it was Bruce Forsyth who’d been loitering around the bar area talking to people most of the afternoon.

Sepp Blatter - met him at a football tournament that a team I was coaching, took part in. I had always thought he was the embodiment of the 'Napoleon Complex' (where short men sometimes seem to adopt overly obnoxious, chauvinistic and arrogant traits in an attempt to make up for their short stature). In my limited time talking to him, he did nothing to disabuse me of this notion.

Around 1982 I saw the bloke who played one of the teachers on Grange Hill whilst I was on a coach driving round London. I can’t remember the name of either the actor or character.
I’m not even sure it was him, as the coach was going quite fast and I felt car sick.
Thats more like it! I feared the thread was getting off track. Unless @Jostler doesn't know what "unimpressive" means

walking round dartmoor zoo ( the one Matt Damons movie is based on) i said good morning to the real fella who bought the zoo, not Matt Damon

that's as unremarkable as i can get i think

Whilst watching some boxing around 8-9 years ago, I once drunkenly asked Lennox Lewis via Twitter if he agrees that I would've outpointed him with my rangy jab. He said that he disagrees and that he would dispatch me comfortably within 3 rounds. So yeah, from the champs mouth, I can officially go three rounds with him.;)

I was also lucky enough to bump into Paul Frost outside the Billingham Arms in the 90's. Yes that's right! Paul Frost of Northern Life fame.

I also once seen a lad who I believe was called Ray, from brookside and possibly hollyoaks walking his dog when he was doing panto in Darlington.
Coincidentally he was walking past a massive billboard of himself advertising the panto. I say coincidentally maybe he just spent all walking backwards and forwards past the billboard in the hope of being spotted....

There's a few who've definitely failed to read the question properly. Schoolboy errors 🙂

I've just remembered I was at a wedding with Mario Mugan. Didn't know or care who he was. Big brother contestant apparently who had the standard sad attempt at a zed list celebrity career for a bit after.

Haha, to be honest I walk around in a world of my own, in a constant distraction, most of the time. I’d probably need a celeb pointing out to me for me to realise they were there. So z lists have no chance.

I did see Alistair Cook at Bucks county show in full farming attire. Again pointed out by Missus Jostler. I was star struck at that one.

In my younger days...Andy Peters on the tube in London and S Club 7 over breakfast in a hotel in Canary Wharf.

More recently sold Alice Cooper a pair of trainers in Newcastle Burtons and when commuting from Derby to Sheffield would often be in First Class with Pearson, returning from training at Leicester.
