We have had open days at churches in the past and events at the Hebrew Prayer House and now for the first time this afternoon from Central Mosque is inviting us all to step inside and view an Islamic Exhibition.
The Middlesbrough Central Masjid and Community Centre will be running several exhibitions during the Discover Middlesbrough Festival.
Come and see what the inside of a mosque looks like.
There will be several small exhibit stalls where you can find out about:
Contribution of Islam in Science
Medicine in Islam
The Five Pillars of Islam
Quran - The Holy book of Islam
Life & Teachings of the Prophet Mohammed (sas)
Islamic Architecture
History of Islam in Britain

You can wonder around in your own time and learn about some of the fascinating facts about Islam. There will also be volunteers to help you with any questions you may have.
