Morning all

Morning. Another day in lock down. No plans to go out of the door. Only one person at a time allowed in our car. The missus is taking it on a 10 minute drive to Carrefour later today. As our small town only has one big supermarket.

My highlight yesterday was a brief trip to the chemists. As they had some masks in stock.

Brutal

Quiet one here too.

We (wife and I) drove to Redcar yesterday evening for a walk on the sea front. Only had a half hour of fresh air and walking because it was bitterly cold but saw very few people.

Staying in again today but we'll be out for a stroll somewhere quiet to get a break and a little exercise.

What is this strange thing you call a stroll?

We have unusual weather here. Looks like it is going to rain for 3 days in a row. It will feel like life behind bars...View attachment 1046
Spanishman. Can’t think how frustrating it must be. At least you have it seems a nice balcony and patio and a lovely view. Where are you again?

I know it isn’t any consolation but think of the overcrowded tenement apartments in London with no views and how they will cope with lock down. I’m blessed to have a garden is how I feel right now.

True. I remember visiting my brother who was living in one of those blocks. In the late 70s in Deptford.

I live in Almerimar. A small dormitory town for the vegetable growing area of El Ejido. The view in the distance is the marina. If you look another direction off the terrace you can see the golf course.

The place was only built in the 70s. It survives on a mixture of tourism and plasticulture.

I feel it is like when I was living in the Boro. You had to go through industrial stuff to get to the seaside. The plasticulture is our industrial stuff.
