More points on this site than your age?

I know it’s **** ! Only really remember his last spell at the club but even then I was only a kid so won’t of understood what I was watching as good as I do now. I have seen all his highlights goals etc, I’d love to get a player of that quality back at the boro one day! All we can do is hope. It’s mad to think I was only a few months old when he signed here the first time.

I would love to be able to watch him, I also wish I got to see just how good Merson was for us. And wish I could gauge my own opinion on Emerson as he seems to divide opinion.
Merson was great but he was a proven top flight title-winning player playing in a league that was beneath him. It demonstrates the spending power we had then.

Emerson was unplayable for about 6 weeks, after that we only saw sporadic flashes of brilliance.

Both, if we're being honest, were ***** in the Gaston/Braithwaite/Viduka/Ziege/Ravanelli mould. I'd even put Yakubu above them.

Does anyone have like conception of people’s ages on this forum? I always like to think I could guess what age range certain posters are but in reality I’m probably way off. I reckon some probably thought I was older than I was.

I assume everyone on here is at least 30+. JLinardi is the only other regular poster who I think is your sort of age (where is he by the way?). Maybe the lad who lives in Spain too (not Spanishman, the other one).

Word of warning, I found turning 30 'tough'. Enjoy the next 5 years to the max!

I thought you were Block, your posts seem as a Boro supporter of many years, me, I've been going 49 seasons now

There is an age option that you can fill in on your profile. You can then make this private or not. Showing either your year of birth or date of birth if you decide to share it. I have not looked at many profiles to see whether people are making this visible or not.

Do you mean the one in the province of Almería? Or is there another one from elsewhere over here?

If you think 30 is tough, try 60.

The lad who used to post as tom_mate. He has a new name on the new board but I forget what it is. He's probably reading this.

I've not done that yet, maybe with reaching my 60th later in the year I may decide to let everyone know as I will be celebrating the day with achieving

Nearly there, though TBH I've been very lucky, apart from a few aches I'm still much as I was in my 30's

Quality that mate. I’ve been reading this forum since I was about 13 year old so I have a good grasp of the posters and I started posting about 4/5 year ago. I’m football and boro obsessed that’s probably why I come accross that way. I’m very interested in football before my time aswell which would probably come accross in the way I post. My mam used to put the cartoons on for me when I was 2 and I used to cry and ask her to put the footy on, I can watch anything. You are Definetly the grandad figure of this forum, I hope you don’t take that the wrong way by the way it’s a good thing.

and Attpical, would I be right in guessing your early 30s?

I agree on Jlinardi, I think him, Parmoboy and BoroBen92 are similar ages to me maybe a bit older it I could be wrong. The 92 might be a give away in bens case mind

I wish! I'm undeniably late 30s now mate.

Having said that I feel a lot more prepared for 40 than I did for 30. At 30 I felt like I was still a child (out on the **** every night after work etc) but having to come to terms with loads of adult responsibilities almost overnight. When I turn 40 I doubt much will change.

I don't mind one bit, I do know for a fact there are older posters than me, one, erimus11, a very good family friend

I don't know if it's the age thing but as you're probably aware I mostly post pre Riverside & music, not many after mid 80's

I'm 30.

Was only 18 when I joined the board, hence the name.

Might have to change it in a few years time to 'parmoman' ;)

I was wrong. It allows you to display the day of the year you were born. Or that plus the year you were born.

haha I assumed you were around that age. It is weird how you can get a grasp of a posters age in the way they post

My points total is still under my age.
However, combining my post, likes and points totals and dividing by 10 gets you closer, but still under.
I'll have one from the top and the rest from the bottom please Carol.
