More Gutted Today Than Last Week

Whats worse losing in the semis or losing in the final?
I'm over it now, gonna enjoy the the final and don't care who wins or loses.
Roll on the new season.
 
We had a schit first quarter of a season.
We had a brilliant three-quarters of a season witnessing football most havent seen in a lifetime.
Approximately half the regular team were loanees and the rest; a jumble of other peoples players.
We did great getting Michael Carrick.
There`s been some fabulous records and personal achievements.
No one on 29th October would take Boro seriously if we said we would finish in the play-offs and be a game away from Wembley.
Big picture.
Perspective.
No one "stole" our (?) place.
Me an a mate were just on the blower saying how hollow it feels and what we would be doing if we were going to Wembley today.
But, never mind. We draw breath, pull ourselves together, suck it in and get ready to go again at the start of next season(y)​
 
Losing a shootout would have been worse, them and Sheffield United going up mean there's only one relegation spot next season for the rest of the premier league.

The fact we couldn't beat Coventry means we didn't have a good enough core to go up.
 
I have drank a lot tonight
So may be this is the alcohol talking.
But I am not the least bit disappointed
We played beautiful football at times this season.
That's all I want really
