Moneys no object... . Which car??

My dream car is the one i have a Mazda RX8 - great car to drive, crappy to own though.
Would you like to buy some oil?

Kind of agree with you, it's a great car, just not built for these eco friendly, polar bear hugging times.

As Jeremy Clarkson would say: " it's as in tune with the times as a fire in an oil refinery" great car though.

If money was no object I'd buy Necker Island off of weird beard & hire a jet to get there & stay.
I've had decent cars as a younger fella and driven some fab machines on the track as presents (to myself or from others) they were fantastic, but a little like young children, nioce to see but I'm not bothered about owning one.
Piloting a glider perhaps...yep - that would be on the list - again not bothered about owning one but the experience would be good.

Rover P6.jpeg
Rover P6 3500S - manual - most of the series were automatic.
5 speed gearbox with manual overdrive. 23 miles to the gallon on a long run. 19 miles to the gallon in urban areas. Reserve 9 gallon tabk. Di-dion suspention. Leather interior. Geniune Mahogany dashboard with green dial display - each with seperate dimmer switch. Adjustable steering column.
Shifted like schitt off a stick 1 and 1/4 tonnes kerb-side weight. Parking light on right hand side.

I bought one of these in 1986 - which had been owned by a chap called Sturgess - each panel had been hand - built from steel alloy using the same pattern as the original solid steel doors. It was originally designed to run on high octane 5-STAR leaded petrol. A wonderful machine - purred like a cat.

Mine has to be this little number! Maybe in a couple of years 😏

Big old guzzling bus those Rovers, could move because of the V8 but you could hear them rust and BL made some awful nuts and bolts access.

Sword get yourself along to your local gliding club. It's expensive to get your license, but after that you can fly, relatively cheaply, if you help out at the club and earn flight time. It's a great hobby though
