Mogga interview on bbc tees

Not sure how Mogga's a manager to be honest.
Don't know what he watches while the match is in progress, but when manager of Blackburn he didn't see the incident when Fry got his head kicked off his shoulders, and today didn't see the penalty incident. Obviously doesn't watch the game.

Did Mowbray also mention during the Tees interview that he felt it was penalty and Boro could have no complaints?

Somebody should show him a replay of the incident.

He had his team in the right frame of mind and we were lucky to get away with 2-0. They outplayed us for most of the game.

I saw a replay and it looked a penalty to me.
Contact was outside the box. I agree they deserved to win and he had them fired up today but a bit of honesty from him would be appreciated re that particular incident, but then I wouldn't expect it from him after he lied and said he hadn't seen the incident when Fry nearly lost an eye.

What's Moggas record against us since being our manager ? Brighton and Sunderland have sussed us out. Shame we played better 1-0 down with 10 men. C what happens against Watford without Fry.

Sunderland have been really good this season, they where hardly there for the taking. I know some Boro fans look through rose tinted glasses but they played us off the park today and its as simple as that. Yes it was a dodgy decision for their pen and red card but thats football without VAR (I hate VAR btw)! Ive been saying for weeks that Steffen has a hint of Lumley about him and he's proved it again today albeit he made some good saves. If Ross Stewart had of stayed onside in the first half he would of been at fault for fumbling

Couldn't care less what Mowbray has to say about anything. I lost all respect for him over his conduct following that incident where Fry nearly lost an eye.

Mowbray is in a difficult position when he plays us. He lives here, he and I presume his family and friends support Boro not Sunderland.

Re the Blackburn game he had to protect his own player, who was also was young and inexperienced at Championship level.

Today he said when interviewed that he hadn’t seen the penalty TV replay with Fry.

He‘s either telling the truth or being diplomatically dishonest.

Everyone will come to their own conclusions.

As a former centre half Mogga will deep down have thought the refs decision to be outrageous, and he would be right.
