Results have not been great, and 21 points from the last 20 league games is wholly unacceptable. There is no way that squad should be in the relegation zone in the Championship.

I can't help but think though.. the problems at this club are much deeper rooted than getting rid of yet another manager. Chris Wilder, Premier League manager of the year a couple of years back, CV littered with promotions and success everywhere he goes. Not even here for a year and he's gone.

Started like a house on fire, we were great to watch, had some amazing days in the cup, the ground was buzzing, away ends sold out every week, season card sales up... then this.

Who is going to come in and do a better job than him? What's going to be different next time around?

We're back to square one again.

Less than a point a game, Mowbray, a club legend who did much much more for the club was chucked with a better record than Wilder.

I shed not one single tear for Chris Wilder.

Our next manager will be our 8th in 5 and a half years.

In those 8 you've had experienced, inexperienced, defensive focused, attacking coaches.. you've had the lot.

All deemed unsuccessful.

The issue has to be more than the manager.
