Boro are hoping to receive a further allocation of 600 tickets

After the long wait for fans to get back in the stands watching Boro, tickets for the first game of the season were always going to be in high demand.

So much so, Boro's initial allocation of 1,000 tickets for the Championship opener at Fulham sold out in just four minutes!

Boro say they are hoping to receive a further allocation of 600 tickets. If so, details will be announced by the club, but those tickets will be initially available to fans who have 160 or more priority points.

The Craven Cottage opener was selected for TV coverage by Sky and kick-off was shifted to Sunday, August 8, 1.30pm.

Three days later, Boro head for Blackpool in the first round of the Carabao Cup. Boro have received an initial allocation of 2,000 for the tie, with tickets set to go on sale to fans with 70 or more priority points from 3pm tomorrow. More information is available HERE.
