Middlesbrough Fire Station underwent a major rebuild recently but Dorman Museum published plans and photos from the original opening of the Park Road South station that saw them move out of the Town Hall into a purpose-built stand alone building. The fire hose tower had pride of place as it still does with its clock now keeping the time for the surrounding area of Linthorpe.
