Been posted a few good times but it ain’t been on for a while . Not making any apologies as it’s stirring stuff , especially as we have a few new( ish ) posters who’ll love it and there’s a canny few similar pieces attached . Enjoy

That was awesome and did make me well up with pride.

It was stuff like that, that was swirling through my mind on the night when the lights of the Olympic rings were
switched on on the S H Bridge that so overwhelmed me. As well as the pride for my hometown area and the Boro men that
had made that steel which built the bridge and changed the Sydney skyline forever.

And there I was, stood with all that emotion within me and knowing that I had been part of changing the Sydney skyline once again
like my forefathers, if even only for a short time.

Something was bound to give and it did and I was left in no shape at all to explain my reaction to my workmates at that moment in time.
