Middlesbrough FC new manager odds

Steve McClaren….wonder if it’s time for our most successful manager to come home? Perhaps Woodgate’s gained some more experience?

I really don’t think the manager name is that important if he (or she) can get a tune out of the squad at his disposal and that includes former academy and so called ‘development’ players.
Woodgate will be better of course.. don’t think the fans would take to him tbh.

I think we need a 'intelligent' manager who studies the game and knows tactics. Wilder an and warmock were just your british up and at em type. Not sure on edwards he probs equivalent of appointing hignett.

I think that's to an extent with Warnock, not so much Wilder.

He was/is responsible for a number of tactical innovations in his career (albeit I think Knill is credited with some of them).

Which other football club would think it great allowing a no mark like Kieran Scott to determine football strategy, make all recruitment and retention decisions, appoint the coaches and yet be above criticism and be unaccountable for the standing of the club/team.
It is a joke.
He is the little joker who should be chased. Done nothing in the game, yet is Nero's right hand man.
The Football Club is a laughing stock.

Mate, have I lie down will you 😄

No not a wind up, just something I was told. Don’t know if there’s anything in it, but the person who told me works for the accountancy firm the club uses, and said that we’d been sounding Bielsa out.
Can’t see it happening in a million years for a million different reasons, but fair play to us for asking!

I wouldn't be surprised if he opts for Nigel Pearson or JFH. Gibson is probably livid at how Wilder has had his head turned, and now wants someone in who knows the club and what it means to be a part of it. Just hope its not O'Neil.

Oh **** I’d forgot about Nigel Pearson.

Would be dreadful but feasible.

I'm always confused about the term laughing stock. Who is laughing? Not Boro fans, and not fans of other clubs as they don't have any interest.

(by the way i agree that Scott has not delivered any of the targets that you would assosiate with his remit)
