Middlesbrough eye move for Dan Barlaser

I watched him play as a young kid and he was very good. Not a surprise that he ended up becoming a pro, although I think he only ended up making a handful of appearances for Newcastle and took up a few loan deals.

Players like him will always be worth a punt in this league when we've spent millions on others who provided little more output than an academy graduate.

Can't even argue the D & N are close to each other for a missed key :-D - hean id the shen obviously ;-)
I am going to ask you a question which I hope you answer honestly.
Did you initially think the saying was 'couldn't hit a bar door'?
That is the only way your original 'BarLaser' joke works and also explains the simple error of a duplicate 'd' in the follow up.

The extra D's in replies on purpose.. to emphasise the clutsiness of my first misstype..

Yes I know. I meant your original post. Did you mean to type BarDoorLaser?
That makes a bit of sense if the saying was 'couldn't hit a bar door' and his name is Barlaser.

The reaction of Rotherham fans speaks volumes as they seem genuinely gutted he's almost certainly going to leave. Don't know much else about him.

I imagine we are in a decent position to sign him. Available on a free in the summer so shouldn't cost much to push through an early move. 1mil?

Also ready to go in the championship so no fecking around 'getting used to the league' etc. They genuinely seem to rate him. Also 'tidy' and 'eye for a pass' crops up a lot.

We definitely need to be looking at a longterm replacement for Howson. Although he's had his usual new manager bounce and looks to have been reborn again. He's been class under Carrick👌

Just sounds like a perfect fit to be honest. Be surprised if we signed any central midfielders now who don't have an eye for a pass.

Liked the look of him earlier In the season, Gazette seems to think we're in pole position, won't have to move heaven and earth get him, had a few very good seasons and he's a North East native.
If the gaffer, a former elite midfielder himself fancies him, then absolutely nobody can question it, If anybody knows what a midfielder needs it's him

Wow l know youtube can lie (Alves) but he looks a player. He is the type that generates time on the ball when there is bedlam going on all around him. Shades of Michael Carrick
Get this lad in ASAP.

I think once we bid it'll be a formality, Gazzette already confirmed he's high on our list, what Midfielder wouldn't want to play under Carrick. I'd imagine it'll be fairly cheap to

From their point of view though, you'd have to wonder how important he is to them for the rest of this season. He is one of Rotherhams best players and without him the chances of them going down significantly increase. So will they factor that into how much he's worth to them despite being out of contract?

He'd be a very good signing.
