Mick Lynch

He made a complete fool out of Morgan. Which was brilliant to see!

Both Morgan and Burley are trying to get a rise out him by making a small, but completely untrue and unfair accusation that he's "getting annoyed" or "looking flustered".

I think many, probably most, people would start to get annoyed or flustered in the circumstances because no-one likes someone aggressively telling them they're behaving in a way they're not, particularly on national TV (and throw in a bit of hypocrisy too as it's actually those making the accusation who is in fact behaving that way).

Most people's inner chimps would be straining at the leash to bite back which would of course give these impression the "journalists" were right all along. Gutter journalism, but very impressive self control from Lynch.

Burley asked the same question at least half a dozen times and Lynch said people on a picket line would talk to workers and ask them not to go into work.
Burley was trying to frame the picket lines as violent, aggressive, thugs. She said on her twitter that Lynch was "flustered". The truth is she was patronising and "flustered" because she didnt upset Mick Lynch at all. The establishments chums arent used to having it delivered straight. Social media exposes what these chums say and expose the bias and threats from the media. Theyl attempt to smear the unions, particularly the RMT and destroy Lynch. The private media has already filled with false allegations, sob-stories and attacks on ordinary people.
Are we all so gullible and ignorant that we swallow this whole? I dont think so.

Morgan, Burley and the Antique show woman are, like a lot of their ilk, missing what is going on.
If we have a situation building were both Bin-men and Barristers are talking about industrial action at the same time Medical staff watching the NHS being purposefully degraded to be sold off. (there’s an awful lot of mp’s and Lords with interests private health companies.) who are been so well looked after by some very senior, ex banker who seems to find it difficult explaining why he didn’t manage to pay his taxes for 6 years.
Teacher’s as well, looking to take action. A profession overseen by a minister who for much of political career has been working as Chief Strategy officer for Gulf Keystone Petrolium at £30,000 a month !!! Also at the same time managing to spend £25M on property…but attempted to get us to pay to heat his stables.
Maybe, just maybe, this guy stood there and articulated all the pain and frustration that most all of us feel but don’t have the exposure to get it out there. At least the people have a voice for awhile anyway.
Now, they will try to destroy him.

Best laugh I've had for a long time that....Burlap trying to compare 5-6 folk handing out leaflets to the carnage and bloodbaths that Thatcher unleashed on the miners....the way he turned round about 3 times to look at his picket line, smile on his face and saying " what don't you understand about pickets" absolutely priceless......she is a moron btw

As well as being hugely entertaining, what this week should highlight is how much "noise" there is in what passes as debate these days. We see it weekly in the HoC during PM's question time, but when you take out the culture war stuff, the jibes and the insults, there is little time devoted to actually discussing the matter in hand.
The exchange with the Tory backbencher asking Lynch to apologise to the veterans reminded me so much of Partridge or Brent.
If you have seen the January 6th hearings going on in Washington then you would see what I am talking about as there are none of Trump's henchmen there to derail the proceedings and so you just get to hear the uninterrupted testimony.
Of course, it's all part of the game and it is all the Muppets and puppets that we have in government have to bring to the table. It's no wonder why they are trying to move to a more authoritarian state and all but ban protests, because they can't combat intelligent opposition that see through their rhetoric and lies and see what they are up to.

It's interesting to note that the press have decided they don't fancy going after all the barristers going on strike for nearly 3 weeks worth of days between next week and the end of July.

It is painfully partridge. In fact, if you were to write that interview as a sketch you probably wouldn't change the dialogue.

You are quite right, when you look at all the main interviews very few even touch on the main issues at hand. So much noise.

Looks like B.A. staff are about to put the boot in next.

Bunter is losing control of the country, not that he ever was in control.

His paymasters won't be happy about the revolting peasants. He may soon be toast.

There’s a certain calmness, with slight smile, when he listens to the fact free ramblings of which ever politician or brain dead TV host who is in front of him.
Retaining the calm aura he than proceeds to dissect the spouted garbage.
I think we are witnessing our first Zen Master, Union Leader 😉

Hopefully the people who keep the wheels of the country running can do what so many politicians fail to do and that is shape society to be fairer.
If people could only realise the power they hold collectively. Whoever does decide to strike needs backing by the general public so we can all benefit.
