I'm all moved in to Eston and loving it. I've hardly been out though. Went to the Eston & Normanby Club a couple of weekends back and caught COVID.

I'd say my back op was 95% successful. Just a hint of sciatica now, which should go with a little exercise.

I only slipped coming down the stairs on Thursday morning and cracked my ribs. Not ideal with a Covid cough.

I tested clear the day before yesterday so got myself down the James Cook for an x-ray.

Looks like another 6 weeks of pain, but I'm hard as nails me like 😉

A least the 2 years of being laid out with the sciatica has taught me how to manage pain relief.

Back to 4am paracetamol and Ibuprofen alarm calls for a while.

I'm on call this week so can't even have a yag to get to sleep 🙁

The main reason for moving back was to be close to the auld fella. He's 88 now and seems to have given in to his advanci g years. I offered to get him a season ticket but he's too unsteady on his legs and isn't even interested in getting a wheelchair access ticket with me as his plus one.

I reckon he's only got a couple of years left so will watch the games with him on IPTV.

Once the auld get shuffles off, I'll get myself a seaso.
