Yeah. They should have stuck with him in the first place. Like you say, he was doing quite well until they decided to appoint Beale.

I think these days so soon into a new contract the two lawyers get together and it does take some time. The Club will say if you're expecting a full pay off then we will be expecting you not to work anywhere else for the length of the term That's just a starters. The club will also say you didnt really perform at the level we expected so we had no choice to terminate Compromises made and signed NDA's and everyone gets to move on after a few months.

Probably have a probation period where if you leave during that time, you get a reduced pay out up to say the end of the season. Otherwise Beale will be raking it in, two sackings in a season.
