Lets hope Hall remains fit til end of season - and one thing he could add is goals at set-pieces - but he would have to be lucky to break into the side. Maybe suspensions could open a door.

He is almost fit.

I don't think you can rely on Hall whether he's fully fit or not. He was injury prone at QPR and has carried that on here. It's perfectly feasible we could loan out Wood and Hall pick up another injury in a few weeks.

Unless we put in a recall clause, assume those things are still allowed? Might make him a less attractive prospect for potential clubs those.

How long was the contract we gave Hall? If we think he's good enough I'd rather keep Wood and give him minutes here, although that's obviously difficult with a settled CB pairing.

I agree Festa , risky to let Wood go on loan . I mentioned on another thread , I would like to see Neil keep him , as cover for CH , RB , but also would like to see him tried as a defensive midfielder , as I think he could do well there.
His height would help the defence on set pieces , and he has the ability to play there.
Howson , Morsy and Saville are a decent unit , but loss of form , injùry ,or even if one gets booked , Wood could come on and do a job there .
The new Declan Rice, although after yesterday , he would have to improve .
