Doesn't help when Mark Schwarzer (ex Fulham and Chelsea)does a preview of the game and doesn't even mention him , bellend.

Put in a great cross to nearly make it 2-2, but a very quiet game from him otherwise.

Riley looked nervous early on. Was concentrating on staying in shape in a left of midfield. Wasn't able to go out and express himself. Shame he had no impact other than that cross for header that hit the post.

France dominated.… much quicker and in a different class altogether.

Aussies play old school football, lump it forward, into channels. Runners off and feed off scraps. They are not a passing team. Difficult for McGree to get involved. He needs lots of touches on the ball. Unfortunately something he is unlikely to get with the Australia. However played a good team in France, so can't be overly critical! England and France are scheduled to meet in the QFs if everything goes to plan - that should be a hell of a game!!
