He's definitely got more end product. I have to say at 2mil (ish) he's looking like a bargain. This new Boro buisness model is looking better by the week (also see Forss).

That said I'd love to see what Carrick would have 'done' with Tav.

I rate McGree as highly as anyone but not sure he’s better than Tav yet.

Very different players. Tav was unreal at what he did and McGree couldn't do it. Similarly, Tav couldn't do what Mcgree is doing so effectively now.

I’m not one for comparing players but Tav was quality for a number of years. McGree is getting better and better and long may it continue.

Tav was doing the business in the Prem prior to the WC. Don’t think he’s played since the season resumed. I guess he’s injured.
