McGree Availability

Do you reckon he will be available to play for us at Huddersfield?

Australia play Friday 24th & Tues 28th March (they play the Equador twice in 6 days which is strange), which with all the travel and time difference, I reckon the sports science opinion will be rest him.

We all know how influencial he has been to the way we play this season, so it could be crucial to our chances.

Well, it seems that sponsorship is rife and the men's team is now the Subway Socceroos from last Sep (3 yr deal), as can be seen by our Riley getting his chops round one of their sarnies with his bessie mates .

Riley loves subway

How does Greggs England sound 🤔

I suppose my first question has to be, where are the matches being played?

I can't worry too much: the difference between automatic promotion and the playoffs won't be whether RM is able to play in this match.

Tuesday in Australia, we play on Saturday.

I reckon he'll be fine, assuming he's not injured.

He was starting for us 5 days after being knocked out of the World Cup by Argentina, I'm sure he could manage 4 days after a friendly against Ecuador.

He'll play I'm sure, the actual travelling won't take much out of him in business/first class or whatever. There's just the time difference to get over, but he's not there long enough to fully adjust anyway. Also he may not even start the games for Australia.

Ah yes, but this is not just any Ecuador, it is THE Ecuador.

McGree will also be flying with the Clock for his Return from East To West, which is always generally easier than losing a day flying the other way
