I've said a couple times that Carricks most impressive influence is the ability to play in such a fluid way, with players interchanging and playing different roles and yet remain so solid defensively - that's not an easy thing to do.I love the balance in the formation.
Forss never leaves the wing except to get into the box/run in behind.
McGree comes inside/almost has a free role which creates the space for Giles.
Even better today with Archer looking in behind the right back early with McGree dropping deep.

I'd agree with that, a real mixed performance but thought he grew into it.I'm a McGree fan, but though he was mixed bag. Some great touches, but some poor final balls too.
This was captured in 1 first hal moment: a wonderful piece of skill to spin on the ball, followed by a disappointing through ball to Archer.
