During this shut down and no football the BBC should have shown via MoTD - classic football games from the past using VAR - see how the game would pan out and what decisions would have been made.

1970 Leeds V Chelsea FA Cup replay at Old Trafford would be my pick for the first game. - what others? - I reckon it would be viewing winner.

Wasn’t this “re reffed” a few years ago using today’s standards To see how many would survive.

It was, and didn't the ref (Elleray ?) say that he'd have had to abandon the match after about 62 minutes because there wouldn't have been enough players left on the pitch
 
I was watching Boro v steau Bucharest with this in mind. After Maccarone scores ugo handballs in the box.
I couldn't find anything to chalk off our winning goal though.

It was a great match and Leeds got beat. Different game then and all for the better.
