I don't think it's been mentioned on here but what a great moment it was when Maccarone took to the pitch before kick-off last night.

I felt emotional hearing Ali's commentary when those two goals he scored in the UEFA cup games were shown.

I think we'd all have been a bit taken aback if he'd walked out and he had long blonde hair to be fair.

I think he'd appeared at some sports dinner recently, so I had an idea it was going to be him when the announcer said a special guest is here tonight.

I do agree though the club could have advertised it via social media.

Great to see. Can't believe it's been that long.

Was a little cringe moment when he was speaking to the crowd and said 'I love you all'...then John Foster said, 'and lastly, what do you want to say to the fans?'

Does John ever listen to anyone?

He really does love the sound of his own voice at times.
